new job!

yeah, so i did manage to land the astronomy/physics job! it's only a few hours a week, but i do get my own desk :) well, that is to say, i get to share the part-timer's desk, but since i'm the only person there on my part of the shift, i get it all to myself...
and han and i are thinking about getting our own apartment next year, so even though we're going to have to scrounge to come up with the down payment, both of us are going to have good summer jobs (han with her unit, of course, but me, still looking... anyone know someone who needs a diver this summer??!?!?)

put in my two weeks notice at hardee's on tuesday, and then had my last day on thursday... gods it feels so good to be gone...
had a rather lovely interview with the astronomy/physics department lady on friday (crosses fingers) but since this is the one time in my life i can go without a job, i'm making the most of it... not that i'm going to goof off, but i can quit one job without another job lined up and not have to go without food or something...
