Highland Games

i am sunburned, bedazzled by all the kilts and bewildered by the peacefulness of a crowd that surely numbered in the thousands. i saw Clann an Drumma, and Off Kilter (love to those wonderful musicians), i bought my absent, but beloved, sister a very pretty knife, and myself three flute music books for scottish and irish folksongs. i got to hang out with my best belov'd family and shirley and mary-fay who came all the way from hendersonville, new york, and burlington, respectively. i hope next year i can compete in the scottish mod contests (singing songs in gaelic) and that my sunburn will go away. now.
only a little while longer until the next harry potter book comes out, as jon has been so kind as to spastically remind me of, i hope it's as good as the last few, and that my favorite character can be miraculusly resurected (still miffed about that)...
