yeah yeah, score one for tony-san

this watching of enourmous amounts of Roruoni Kenshin has been a very odd expirence... it's rather like re-watching something i loved as a child... it feels very familiar and warm (don't ask how, okies? just go with it) herm... or like watching a story my mother read to me as a child... only she wouldn't really have, because it's rather bloody, there's a lot of cursing and people get killed right and left... but it's a very prettily animated series (otherwise i wouldn't be watching it, right?) and the story is flawless, historically (i'm guessing, but nothing so far has seemed too far fetched), i guess i've always had thing for fallen angels (even scarred, red haired, angels of death... hey now! vengence -ie. blood and fire- is a godly thing, look at the old testament!)... the music is well suited, not my favorite type, as there is no screaming guitar (heh) but it fits the story line and animation; some of the eps are badly encoded (or whatever they call it) which means watching it means you need to develop some sort of second sight, but all in all? defiantly a must see, even if you're not the anime type... not a spectacularly beautiful anime, nor a kick ass in your face death-and-no-mercy-running-from-demons-action-scene-every-five-seconds one, but it is a very herm... comfortable sort of anime... so HUGE ENORMOUS HUGGLE SNEAKIE NINJA ATTACK TO ANTHONY for lending me them (and i formally now apologise for the movie misunderstanding, i had thought that you wanted me to call you if anything changed, not if it was still going on *bows meekly* so sorry, blows kisses, you should still take Jim (erk, you can have him as a date, i wouldn't want to, he'd probably snitch my popcorn :)) and go see it...)
