- a sidenote here on the matter of the pretty obsession: you see, anime/manga is a hobby for me, it's nothing i have to do in my job, and nothing i have to study in school; it's just something i like to be mildly obsessive with, and if i don't like it, as in, if it's not pretty, there's really no point in my watching/ reading it... which is why i'm not so crazy about the siyuki anime, even though i love and adore the manga and it will probably always be on my shelf in creased copies from countless rereading... but the anime is new age and choppy and the music, though rock, just isn't well... pretty... most people view comic books (ie manga) and cartoons (ie anime) to be a form of entertainment, i don't, if tehy occasionally make me laugh? then so be it, i will laugh, but if they make me cry, or make me think, i willl love them forever. kinda like watering a soul-flower, is how i view art, and this stuff, or at least the ones i've let myself watch/read, are that...end of rant/meandering/wierdo talking shit- two hour delay today! and a blizzard yesterday (50 mph winds, snow flying around like a sonofabitch), when they didnt' call off school until 7:30 when we were sitting at the traffic light across from lowes hardware, way to go on that one...
