the day after....

e-gad...i am going to miss marching band...with a passion... well, good news is, i can do it in college. bad news? i just relized i was a senior...for the first time...and it was a jolt, let me tell you... i'm OLD!!!...hehehe...poor byron, he was sick last night, he NEVER gets sick (makes those of us weak mortals quite jealous of his vigor)...it was an early release day yesterday, so i went and helped with mountian alliance, which i'm not in, they were helping out this 87 year old sweet little lady with her wood, i think... anyway, i just stacked a LOT of wood...well, okay, it wasn't THAT much, but hey, never in my life have i been so happy as the day we had the heater installed, never agian will i have to carry wood for hours on end and arrange it neat little piles for the sake of heat...but then, i have lost my poor little nomadic feelings... *sigh* settling down, my mother is...she quite likes this house, and it is a lovely thing... i ask you, now that everyone i know has found out that i took the asvab, my friends have band-wagoned aginst me for it, they don't want me to get blown up... *disgruntled* as if...they are certiantly NOT going to be giveing me a weapon, and if my aim with a bow is any indication (to be fair to my ego, it was my first time with a bow, mmkay?) we can all be damned glad of it... i would like to thank my dear claire for being the first one to post to my blog! i would give her a cookie, but i'm told that thats not a good thing for computers...today, or rather this weekend, is the ASU homecoming, meaning, of course that we were slammed horridly...erk... to be fair, hardees isn' taht bad of a place to work, i mean, they're great about my hours, and they actaully give me hours, unlike my last job, which only put me on the scheduale when they felt like it, it's extremly hard to get insurence paid when you have no money...and here i have as well, a car loan to co-pay off (BLARGH threefold)
at any rate, looking forward to trick or treating on next Sat. ( town of boone has changed it for religious/school reasons)with my lilly-child...i'm going with like, four pirates (byron [if we don't fight before then], hannah[if she gets off of work in time], nathan, and luke, [if he gets back, some awesomely auspicious cross country thing]) i am going as a werewolf, if i can get fangs i will look awesome, if not, then screw it, i'll still be a werewolf, only not in a full moon :) i am making nome's costume for her, as she is coming with us, she's going to be an elf, and han and i are going to let her borrow our sword... i'm giving blood on friday, so there a pool going as to whether i pass out at work or not (and that is a joke, i'm a hardy little bugger)...but the up side is that i won't need nearly as much face paint!
